This vehicles have been drained from all hazardous liquids and gases, you can dismantle any of them in any way you want to get to the part you need.

Our yards don't provide you with tools or a mechanic to help you get your part, but if you ask around there is some people that charge a determined amount of money to pull the part for you. Auto Salvage yard places only allow a person who is over the age of 16 to their yard for obvious reasons, your kid gets hurt and they get in trouble. Most Auto Salvage places charge a fee to get into the yard, those prices vary from $1.00 - $3.50

The prices at every auto salvage place varies, they set their own prices and those prices could change at any time. Also if you have a car you don't need or that is not working, you can donate it for a tax deduction or sell it for the cash.

SELL OR DONATE A CAR

Most Salvage yards will give you a warranty on your purchase, but there are cases on final sales and parts are non refundable or exchangeable, so you need to ask before you even enter the yard. If you need to sell your car to a junkyard, make sure you have all the documentation, title or registration. Even thou you can still give them a copy of you license and they will accept your car.

You can donate a vehicle to your local junkyard, all the proceeds will go to a charity of your choice and you will get a very nice tax deductible break.

To sell or donate a car to the junkyard the vehicle doesn't need to be running or have all the parts, since most salvage yard will used the car for parts or scrap metal, the condition doesn't really matter.

There are two kinds of Junkyards, full service and self serve. Here we only list Self Service Junkyards, the ones you go Pick and Pull the auto parts you need.

At You Pick yards you have to bring your tools, search for the car you need to pull a part from, pull the part and pay. Some junkyards specialize only on domestic or foreign cars, some only older models, some are for big trucks, buses, commercial transportation. Some specialize in one specific maker or brands of automobiles. It is better if you call ahead to make sure you get the part you need in a timely manner.

When you visit a yard ask for a map or a sketch of where the vehicles are located in the yard, the faster you get in and find the car will be better to dismantle the car and pull your parts.

Most everyone visit a junkyards for parts; handles, cylinder heads, lights, glass, body panels, and suspension pieces are popular. Some make a living pulling parts and reselling them online, airbag modules and computer boxes are targets here.

Most salvage yard have ford parts, honda parts, gm parts, mustang parts, nissan parts, subaru parts, mercedes benz parts, mazda parts, gmc parts, hyundai parts, ETC.

Come prepared, bring your tools, plenty of water and help if you need to lift heavy parts.
